Longtown Rare Breed Poultry Sale

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC held their Spring sale of Cage Birds, Poultry & Waterfowl, Hatching Eggs and Equipment at Longtown on Saturday 7th March, 2015.  

With a smaller show of birds and a huge crowd of enthusiasts all classes of poultry sold well, especially Call Ducks and Peafowl, with all vendors going home highly delighted with most birds well exceeding expectations and reserve prices.

Cage birds once again met a good trade and sold above expectations.
