RARE BREED POULTRY SALE

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart P.L.C. held their Autumn sale of 566 Cage Birds, Poultry & Waterfowl, Hatching Eggs and Equipment at Longtown on Saturday 23rd November, 2013.

A larger show of caged birds were forward to a full ring of keen bidders ensuring a flying trade for all classes. All equipment sold well with vendors very happy with their prices. In the poultry section quality types sold well to a top of £190 for a trio of White Wyandotte Bantams.
