Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their Annual Suckler Calf Sale together with Store Cattle on Saturday 26th October 2024.

The pre-sale show was kindly sponsored by Dodd & Co and ably judged by Mr Willie and Ethan Miller, High Aketon, Wigton. After much deliberation the championship was awarded to a black British Blue x bullock shown by A Roskell & Partners, Laverhay, Wamphray which later sold for £1,680.

The reserve champion was the first prize Limousin bullock consigned by M/s Dent, Beamwham, Hexham which later went onto sell for £1,520.
