all classes at their annual cast ram & store hogg sale on Tuesday
7th January 2003.
Store hoggs were a good show and attracted a big company of buyers
from a wide area. All classes met an exceptional demand at extreme
prices to a top of £53.20 for Suffolk crosses from Ashkirktown;

North Country Cheviot £43 Branxholm Braes; Greyface £40.80

Breeding
sheep sold well with ewe lambs in particular meeting a strong demand
to a top of £46 for Blackfaces from Wanwood

and all classes were very good to sell in front of a large company
