in Dumfries on Monday
10th September 2007.
1,968 gimmers and ewes:
Gimmers were shown in good bloom, but generally
smaller on the year. A sound trade prevailed. Overall average £75.14
a fall of £2.80 on the year.

The show was judged by T Sanderson Esq., Biggarshiels Mains,
Biggar who awarded the championship to an outstanding pen of lambs from
Mrs K Park & Sons,
Dalpeddar Sanquhar which realised £76 to M & S Wilson & Son,
Newbank, Moffat.
The reserve champions from T W Hamilton & Son, Kirkton
of Crawford, Crawford made £64 also to Messrs Wilson.
Trade was
satisfactory throughout and the overall average of £53.14
was £2.20 down on the year.
