C&D Auctions held their weekly sale of prime sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 5th March 2025.
Handy weighted hoggs easily sold, with heavy weights meeting some resistance. Hoggs to £188 from Radley Livestock, Loaningfoot and to 386p/kg from Third Farms. Cast Ewes and Rams met a firm demand selling to £195 from Ewart, Kirkhill. More can be sold on a weekly basis.
